Alexis Bautzmann is a geographer and political scientist. He holds a PhD in spatial structures and dynamics, followed by a post-doctorate in artificial intelligence, and teaches at several universities and Grandes Ecoles in France and abroad. He founded CAPRI in 1998, and also runs the AREION press group.
